Launching his career in the private investigation industry in 2007, Gurpreet rapidly gained invaluable experience and honed his skills in fraud and undercover investigations. He has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of high-profile clients from various sectors, including banking, government, and corporate industries. His expertise extends beyond borders, having successfully conducted investigations in Canada, the United States, and overseas.

Outside of his professional life, Gurpreet is a dedicated philanthropist and an active member of several local and international charities where he strives to provide essential resources and support to the most vulnerable members of our communities.

Rick Perkins

Vice President, National Investigations

As a Strategic Business Advisor at Aberdeen Investigations, Rick Perkins has an impressive track record of settling numerous high-profile and serious cases throughout his career. He established Aberdeen Investigations in 1991 in Thunder Bay and has been providing reliable and discreet investigative solutions to clients ever since. With his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry, Rick was appointed to the position of Strategic Business Advisor in 2020. His ability to provide compelling and trustworthy evidence is second to none.

Rick’s dedication to enhancing his skills and knowledge is evident through his attendance at seminars, client events, and international studies. He has also earned the honour of being elected to the prestigious Council of International Investigators, a testament to his hard work and dedication to the industry. Rick strives to share his expertise with all Aberdeen employees, as they work towards providing top-notch investigative services to clients nationwide.

Rajwinder Malhi

Chief Financial Officer

Rajwinder Malhi is a highly accomplished accounting and finance professional with over a decade of experience in the corporate sector. She is a proud Humber College alumni, having graduated with honors in her field of study.

In her current role at Aberdeen, Rajwinder oversees the financial operations of the company, playing a key role in supporting the organization’s growth and expansion. She works closely with internal and external partners to ensure that Aberdeen’s long-term goals are executed as planned, maintaining stakeholder confidence and commitment to growth for the business, partners, employees, and the communities in which we operate.

Bruno Bonazza

Executive Vice President, Business Development

As the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Aberdeen, Bruno’s focus is always the customer and delivering on Aberdeen’s service standard commitments to our clients and the communities in which we work. Bruno graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts, double major in Major Crimes & Deviance and Sociology. Dedicated to the safety of our communities, Bruno has 30 years of experience in the investigations industry, preceded by training as an Independent Adjuster and holding his ARP designation as a Vocational Rehabilitation Professional.

Through Bruno’s dedication and loyalty, he fosters mutually beneficial relationships with all of Aberdeen’s clients, from large corporations to community members in need, Bruno oversees the management, assessment and development of our service standards, best practices, and internal responsibility systems, to ensure the best possible experience for our clients, stakeholders, interested parties and community members.

When Bruno isn’t in the office managing the day-to-day operations of our team, he can be found assisting our Special Investigations Unit, from field work to statement taking, Bruno is a hands-on active senior manager, ensuring that all individual interactions with Aberdeen foster positive experiences and help support our clients and surrounding communities.

Rob Redekopp

VP Business Development, Western Operations

Rob has been working in the investigations industry for over 25 years, both in the private and public sector, gaining experience in various types of investigations, interviews, case management and public interaction. Rob joined Aberdeen in ______________________ and has worked diligently to expand Western Canada operations and service areas. Rob ensures that all cases handled in Aberdeen’s western division are provided exceptional care and meet the standards that Aberdeen has set for all our offices around the country.

Specializing in insurance investigations, Rob continues to ensure that our clients in the insurance sector receive the best possible service for all their needs, while upholding Aberdeen’s commitment to our communities and the public in general. Ensuring that positive relationships are fostered and maintained, allowing Aberdeen to gain significant momentum in Wester Canada, without compromising service and quality standards.

Chalinder Singh

Investigation Unit Manager

Chalinder joined Aberdeen in _____________ as a private investigator, quickly establishing himself as a leader with the capability to manage the day-to-day operations and projects of the Investigations Unit. After only 5 years in the industry, Chalinder was promoted to a management position, providing expert organization and oversight to a large of investigators across the country.

With a background in project management and a passion for delivering on commitments, Chalinder heads the investigation unit ensuring all of our investigators produce the best possible work for our clients and uphold Aberdeen’s high ethical standards when working in various communities around the country.

Rajni is also a dedicated supporter of the organization’s community involved, assisting in Aberdeen’s work with the Humble Souls Foundation and other various community outreach programs. A dedicated human resources professional, Rajni has fostered a culture of professionalism, tolerance and high ethical values within the organization, ensuring that Aberdeen’s employees are happy to provide our clients with their best work.

Brooklyn Lake

In-Take and Compliance Manager

Brooklyn graduated from the Univeristy of Guelph Humber with a HBASc in Justic Studies and Diploma in Community and Justice Services, joining Aberdeen recently as a manager. Brooklyn is dedicated and committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in her work and ensuring that Aberdeen complies with internal standards, policies and commitments, as well as expectations from all interested parties and stake-holders.

Specializing in case in-take and client communication, Brooklyn ensures that our clients needs are heard, understood and provided finally provided with exeptional service, from case initiation to reporting. A dedicated professional who believes in fostering growth, better our communities and enhancing services, Brooklyn has become a valuable asset to the Aberdeen family.

Nada El-Hage

Executive Operations Assistant

Nada is a Toronto Metropolitan University business graduate (formerly Ryerson University), with just under 5 years of experience in the investigations industry. Nada is multi-linigual, ensuring representation within the organization for not only employees from different walks of life, but also clients and community members, allowing Aberdeen to offer services and consultations in a number of different languages, including Canada’s second official language.

Ensuring that her department meets Aberdeens exceptional service standards, Nada manages a team of dedicated report writers who work with our investigators to generate timely, accurate, quality reports at the end of investigations. Reports that can make or break a case in public and private ligiation and mediation. Nada ensures that report writers produce their best work, but encouraging employees to meet their career and training goals and work towards becoming experts in their field. Nada is a valued member of our team that ensures Aberdeen’s clients receive consistent service and quality no matter the size of the case.

Melissa Przedborski

Corporate Risk and Procurement Manager

Joining Aberdeen just a short while ago, Melissa bring’s over a decade of corporate risk management, project management and industrial engineering experience to the team. Previously coming from a industrial environment, Melissa became a licenced private investigator in 2019, expanding her investigative skills into the private insurance and fraud reduction sectors. Certified as an internal auditor, cyber investigator and ethical hacker, Melissa brings a wealth of experience to the team.

Implementing and maintaining Aberdeen’s Quality Management System and internal standards and policies has been Melissa’s top priority since joining the team, ensuring that service standards are maintained and client satisfication is continually improved. Through high ethical standards, dedicated commitment to improvement and a tenancious attitude, Melissa has ensured compliance with stakeholders and interested parties, as well as ensuring community expectations are met. Melissa holds a reliability clearance through the Canadian Federal Government and has sat on the Industrial Security Diectorates Industry Engagement Committee for 5 years.

Sharon Sisak

Quality Assurance Manager

Sharon joined the Aberdeen team in _____________ bringing a wealth of industry experience to the organization, with 13 years of claims adjusication experience and 16 years of investigations management experience. Sharon upholds the high ethical standards at Aberdeen by supporting and ensuring complaince with internal protocols for information privacy, report generation, quality, and cyber investigations.

Sharon is a quality focused individual who ensures that our clients are provided with the highest level of quality, relevant and timely information. Providing invalauble oversight to our department managers and employees, Sharon ensures our quality standards are upheld at all levels from beginning to end regardless of case size. Ensuring consistent results, timely deliverly and compliant work is Sharon’s top priority, helping to foser long-term positive relationships with all stakeholders and interested parties.

Raja Chahal

Raja Chahal, is a highly skilled and experienced private investigator who has made significant contributions to Aberdeen since joining the company in 2017 Over the years, Raja has proven himself to be an exceptional leader, capable of managing the day-to-day operations and projects of the Investigations Unit.

In 2020 Raja was promoted to a management position, where he provided expert oversight to a large team of investigators across the country. His experience in project management and his passion for delivering on commitments have made him an invaluable member of the Aberdeen team.

In his current role as head of the investigation unit, Raja is responsible for ensuring that all of our investigators produce the best possible work for our clients while upholding Aberdeen’s high ethical standards. He is committed to providing expert oversight and guidance to his team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional results.
